ManpowerGroup CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Critical Environment Technician (CE Tech) to join their team. As a CE Tech, you will be part of the Data Center Operations Department , supporting Electrical Infrastructure Teams . The ideal candidate will have attention to detail , strong problem-solving skills , and excellent teamwork , which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title : Critical Environment Technician (CE Tech)

Location : Elk Grove Village, IL

Pay Range : $40 - $45 per hour

What’s the Job?

  1. Perform electrical maintenance tasks across the data center campus, including Remote Power Panel (RPP) and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) shutdowns.

  2. Conduct Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and ensure critical load supplies remain operational.

  3. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to ensure continuous operations.

  4. Utilize Building Management Systems (EPMS) to monitor and maintain electrical systems.

  5. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70E standards.

What’s Needed?

  1. OSHA/NFPA 70E Certification required for electrical work.

  2. 5+ years of experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, data centers, or critical environments).

  3. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  4. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

  5. Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and varying work weeks.
