Robert Half Office Manager in Elk Grove, California

Description We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team in Elk Grove, California. As part of our team, the Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of our medical office, supervising staff, managing medical office systems and processes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role provides a contract to hire employment opportunity and is integral to improving operational efficiency and patient satisfaction in our medical office.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all aspects of the medical office, including staff, scheduling, and patient flow.

• Oversee the maintenance of medical records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Coordinate with managed care organizations to ensure proper billing and reimbursement.

• Implement fiscal management strategies to optimize revenue and control expenses.

• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

• Utilize eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record system to streamline administrative processes.

• Handle customer credit applications and maintain accurate records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Concur

• Ability to utilize CRM effectively

• Experience with Dentrix Dental Software

• Knowledge of About Time software

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Comfortable with Answering Inbound Calls

• Previous experience in a similar office management role preferred

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• High school diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
