We offer a leading line of vegetable seed for growers in the United States and Eastern Canada. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for coordinating product management and product development plans.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Organizes, distributes, and tracks trials and product development projects on company wide basis providing reports to management on status and results.

Maintains crop management plans, coordinating and summarizing input from management, sales, and product development staff.

Requests trial seed as needed.

Prepares and distributes trials to meet objectives of crop management plans.

Maintains database of trial seed, including information on receipt, distribution, and on-hand inventory

Follows up and documents trials' progress and results.

Processes trial reports for distribution to suppliers and management

Coordinates, tracks progress and submits reports required for supplier incentive programs.

Oversees GAP certification process and provides growers with documentation required for their inspections.

Assists in continued development of forms and SRC process and use.

Assists in maintenance and evaluation of trials as required and assigned.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains industry and university contacts to keep informed on developing trends and product introductions in assigned product areas.

Creates and participates in presentations during customer meetings and trades shows as required.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in an agriculture related discipline or Business and 1-2 years of agriculture background and crops background related work experience.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Must be able to travel independently and overnight.

Must be able to work extended hours beyond those considered "normal."

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
