ADIRONDACK COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM Bus Driver/Classroom Aide- in Elizabethtown, New York
Duties for this position include driving the bus and assisting in the classroom. Training available to obtain CDL and drive the bus. Applicants must be 21 years of age, and possess a High School Diploma. Previous experience with pre-school children would be helpful. this position requires good communication skills and the ability to work with others. This individual needs a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving skills at all times. This person needs to be flexible and willing to accept change. this person also includes serving as a classroom aide when not driving the bus. responsibilities: ensure safe transport of children, ensure all required inspections and maintenance of the vehicle are up to date, complete and timely submit all required documentation, meet all requirements for NYS DMV, Article 19, comply with all DOT regulations, keep bus clean both interior and exterior, contribute to planning and implementing of classroom activities, assist with supervision of children, work cooperatively with center staff team to provide services in the most productive and efficient manner possible. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass all background checks and DOT physical/drug screen. Location of this position is in Ticonderoga, NY.
