The CED Elizabethtown, Kentucky location is in search of a full-time, entry-level employee who wants to begin or expand on a career in professional business-to-business sales and services. Our focus is on close, consultative, account management relationships as a supplier for our customers, as opposed to high-volume cold calling.

Responsibilities begin in the warehouse learning the product and the business. Advancement opportunities are most common in inside sales or outside sales, depending on interests and abilities.

Responsibilities(change and expand as role changes):

• Deliver merchandise to our customers in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.

• Receive material, put away stock, and stage customer orders for delivery

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers

• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields preferred but not required

• Ability and desire to develop meaningful relationships with customers and coworkers

• Accurate, self-motivated, and service oriented

• High intelligence with the ability to learn quickly

• High School Diploma, or equal

• Minimum of 18 Years Of Age

• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable record

• Read, write, and understand English

• Perform basic math functions in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $42,000.00 per year

Reports to: Location or Division Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the trainee’s current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments will include some travel – both by car and by air.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

• Learning all aspects of the CED business

• Attending classes online as well as in-person at various locations

• On the job training and mentoring

• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships and rapport with solar customers

• Goal planning with Division and Training Managers
