Description:

As a Production Laborer/Operator you will provide general labor/operating support in a covered and uncovered manufacturing environment. Start the day with a team safety meeting, and then the below duties will begin. On average, the production laborers will work 9 hours/day. There is bagging machine that will drop product into plastic bags to be shipped to customers, and a shrink wrapping machine that will wrap bags onto pallets to be shipped. Everyone will run all machines and be cross trained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Stack product as it comes off the production line Run a wrapper and a labeler machine Run a bagging machine Clean machinery, maintain the surrounding area, keeping area free of debris Use security gear at all times and follow all safety regulations Work closely with the lead operator to prepare for shift production and become knowledgeable of the machinery you operate Transport trash and debris away from production areas All other duties assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Oldcastle is looking for reliability more than anything else. Good job tenure and maybe someone who has worked in a similar open air type of environment. They will train people and the work is not difficult. Just need reliable people.

MUST: Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions Ability to work on feet 8-10 hours per day Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Positive attitude

BEST: Experience in a non-climate controlled manufacturing, industrial, construction or landscaping environment machine operation familiarity forklift experience
