Job Summary:

Kelly is seeking great talent to Join our client and their dynamic team in Elgin, IL as a CNC Machine Operator , where you'll be at the forefront of modern manufacturing technology. You will leverage your skills to produce high-quality machined parts, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement. Job Specifications:

• Job Type: Full-time

• Location: Elgin, IL

• Pay Rate: $25 - $29

• Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safety Compliance: Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

• Machinery Operation: Set up and operate CNC Mill and Electro Discharge Machines (EDM).

• Machining Planning: Study production schedules and setup sheets to plan machining tasks.

• Inventory Management: Check stock levels, anticipate needs, place and expedite orders, and verify stock receipt.

• Material Loading: Load appropriate materials and run the correct programs on Mill and EDMs.

• Tool Maintenance: Ensure sharp tools and adequate stock for removal in fixtures; make changes as needed.

• Equipment Maintenance: Complete preventive maintenance requirements, follow manufacturer's instructions, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs.

• Shift Continuity: Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work shifts.

• Documentation: Complete production and quality logs accurately.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, speed, and quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Hands-on experience with strong mechanical inclination.

• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and precision.

• Reliability: Dependable with excellent time management skills.

• Computer Skills: Comfortable using a computer for machine control and email communication.

• Production Scheduling: Ability to produce parts on a schedule.
