About the role:

Liquid IV is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Analyst to play a critical role in our IT team. This individual will provide first and second-level technical support, manage and optimize IT projects, and ensure the seamless implementation, maintenance, and security of our tech stack. With a foundation in IT systems, software, and hardware, coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach, this role requires a unique combination of technical proficiency and project management expertise.

The Analyst will diagnose and resolve issues, deliver effective solutions, and utilize project management skills to guide IT initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring they align with organizational goals and enhance overall system performance and security.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support, resolving helpdesk tickets and inquiries promptly.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of IT systems and projects.

  • Conduct regular system checks, maintenance, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation of network and system resources.

  • Manage system migrations, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.

  • Develop and maintain detailed IT project plans, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute IT initiatives from conception to completion.

  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, addressing any delays or issues proactively.

  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect IT systems and data.

  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments and manage user access controls.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

  • Conduct training sessions on IT policies, system usage, and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including project plans, system configurations, and operational procedures.

  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitor IT system health, performance metrics, and adherence to IT standards.

  • Generate and analyze reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous optimization.

  • Provide regular updates to management on system performance and project status.

  • Work closely with IT team members and other departments to address technical needs and support organizational goals.

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with users, providing technical guidance and support.

  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team performance and knowledge sharing.

  • Monitor and report on IT system health, performance metrics, and SLA’s to ensure adherence to IT standards.

  • Stay current with the latest technologies and IT support methodologies to enhance helpdesk service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Sec+, Net+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or other certifications) required.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Systems Analyst, Helpdesk Technician, or similar role required.

  • Solid technical knowledge of IT architecture, development practices, and helpdesk support systems.

  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering IT projects.

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Windows/Mac OS environments, MS Office, and SaaS systems.

  • Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.

  • Ability to navigate and make informed decisions in ambiguous situations, adapting their role quickly to evolving business needs and technological challenges.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.

The expected salary range for this position is $72,000 - $85,000 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
