Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Logistics Clerk in El Segundo, California. In this role, you will be primarily involved in the logistics industry, handling customer service responsibilities for our Container Freight Station (CFS) operations and services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients regarding Container Freight Station (CFS) operations and services.

• Handle, process, and track customer orders and inquiries with precision and efficiency.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure prompt and accurate handling of cargo.

• Oversee documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork, abiding by company policies and industry regulations.

• Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating pick-up and delivery appointments, optimizing logistics operations.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company's systems and databases.

• Utilize skills in organizing files, filing, and answering multi-line phone system. Requirements • Proficiency in organizing files and maintaining an orderly filing system

• Competence in answering and managing a multi-line phone system

• Prior experience or familiarity with logistics industry

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload

• Proficiency in using computer software including MS Office Suite

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain professional relationships

• Knowledge of logistics terminology and procedures is beneficial

• Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and schedules.
