Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the loading and unloading of construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other machinery to move materials around the yard safely and efficiently.
• Keep the construction yard clean and organized, including sweeping, picking up debris, and disposing of waste materials properly.
• Assist with inventory management by counting and recording materials as they are received or used.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment and tools, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
• Assist with general construction tasks as needed, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a construction yard or similar environment is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for equipment and tools.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
• May be required to work in noisy and dusty environments.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating machinery.
• May be exposed to hazardous materials, so proper safety equipment and precautions are essential.
