Eaton Corporation Value Stream Supervisor in El Paso, Texas

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Value Stream Supervisor in El Paso, TX.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

As a member of the Switchboard Team, the primary function of the Value Stream Supervisor is to develop strategic direction and lead key manufacturing processes to ensure production objectives are met according to safety, quality and customer requirements. The Value Stream Supervisor supports the operation’s strategic plan by providing specific product designs into finished products that meet customer order requirements, product quality standards, and product delivery commitments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides leadership in the development and implementation of more efficient process, and the new production planning techniques.

• Drive continual schedule management of past due backlog to verify build schedules

• Facilitates cross functional activities to resolve demand and capacity imbalances before the operations are impacted and presents potential solutions

• Track project milestones and key job characteristics of released and planned releases of orders for special customers to provide accurate forecasting information.

• Be the central point of contact for the SWBD Operations Manager in regards to production issues at Mission Critical.

• Evaluate workload requirements and effectively delegate tasks accordingly to ensure proper and adequate manning to support production requirements.

• Investigate and solve quality issues and / or serve as a point of contact through which quality issues can be resolved.

• Ensure production objectives are met within budget, schedules and quality specifications.

• Develop improvements in production methods, standards and procedures to ensure effective use of resources.

• Facilitate regular meetings o review order progress and resolve outstanding order issues to meet on-time shipment commitments.

• Foster a culture that promotes the Eaton Leadership Model

• Implementation of Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) tools.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution OR Associate Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years manufacturing/operations experience OR High School Diploma/GED from and accredited institution with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing/operations experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the EL Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus

• Leadership experience in a high accountability culture and metrics driven environment
