Job Description
Utility Pipe Laborer or Wet Utility Laborer is responsible for working with other field crew members. Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Lead, Foreman, or Superintendent. Begin learning to operate some construction equipment when asked to grow with trade. Handle the physical demands of the construction industry. Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions and working with a team to complete project tasks. Assist crew members in placing different types of underground pipe in many different types of environments. Mechanically inclined or knowledgeable in basic power tools, quick-saws, generators, mixing concrete bags, and similar labor activities. Communicate with field supervision to support and take direction as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct daily activities to promote the companys mission to produce consistent results for our clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be able to pass a physical
- Requires hand-eye coordination
- Continue our positive safety culture
- Attend weekly tool-box safety meetings
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere
- Other duties as may be assigned
