Position Description:
A student enrolled in an institution of higher education other than Texas Tech University or Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center employed to perform work as assigned by the supervisor.

Major/Essential Functions:
Maneuver carts through shelves and locations in order to gather, transport, and reshelf library materials on shelves ranging from 0 to 7 feet high.
Check library materials in and out during shift.
Prepare material lists for librarians and supervisors.
Maintain printers by stocking with paper, adding toner, and clearing paper jams.
Answer the phone and respond to inquiries.
Process new materials by stamping, affixing call numbers, writing information on the title page in pencil, securing security strips, and inspecting item for any defects.
Complete any special projects assigned to and given by student assistant manager.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
