Currently recruiting a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor in El Paso, Texas, to work in a 325-bed hospital known for it's comprehensive medical care. The facility offers a certified stroke program, adult and pediatric ICU's, cardiology, and neuroscience among many other services. The hospital is also known for its' cutting edge robotic surgery and the region's only kidney transplant center.
Job Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor:
Demonstrates clinical competency to practice within the unit Scope of Care.
You will perform all critical care and diagnostic procedures utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases on patients of all ages.
Communicates effectively with staff, peers, supervisors, ancillary department, internal and external customers.
Utilizes quality improvement as basis to improve unit/departmental process.
Pursues professional growth and development.
Contributes to the smooth operation of the unit.
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
Qualifications and Education for the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor:
Associates degree is respiratory therapy.
Registered Respiratory Therapist certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensure through the Texas Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Required one year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting or rehab setting.
One year of experience working in an ED; ICU/CCU; PICU; NICU preferred.
BLS healthcare provider required.
ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE preferred.
Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor:
Salary: $23.96-$33.55, depends on experience.
Sign on bonus/relo may be available to a very qualified candidate.
Shift diffs available for nights and weekends.
