Junior Superintendent

Job Description

The Project Superintendent is responsible for all daily field related site activities such as job schedule, crew coordination, cost savings, site safety, and quality of work performed on one or more projects, depending on scope and scale of work in progress. Superintendent works closely with management staff regarding all aspects of the project. They also communicate regularly with the General Superintendent, requesting support and taking direction as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Must be able to maintain relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants and Subcontractors. Conduct daily activities to promote the companys mission, values, and produce consistent results for our clients. Superintendent should keep project progress and production ahead of schedule, coordinating deliveries, equipment, crew, and materials to facilitate a consistent outcome for our customers and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced knowledge of all trade disciplines
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications
• Ensure compliance with Accident Prevention Plan
• Encourage and maintain a positive safety culture
• Maintain all safety certifications as required by contract
• Attend all preparatory and initial quality control phase meetings
• Conduct weekly tool-box safety meetings for all workers
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating affectively
• Manage daily field activities to ensure project milestones are met
• Follow two-week look-ahead schedules prepared by office
• Proactively identify issues in advance to facilitate solutions
• Verify that all work is installed in a workmanlike manner
• Minimize punch list items to assure timely completion
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA jobsite requirements
• Maintain Project As-Built Drawings in the field
• Other duties as may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10-Years of Hands-On Experience in Wet Utilities
• 5-Years of Experience in Heavy Civil Construction
• Must demonstrate strong dedication to safety culture
• Hardworking, Self-Motivated Individuals encouraged to apply
