Broadridge is growing! We are currently looking for a VP, Production Operations to join our dynamic team in El Dorado Hills. This role is in our Customer Communications Division, which is a world-leader in digital and mail communications. As the VP, Production Operations, you're the driving force behind the seamless execution of print, insert, and production processes, overseeing a diverse team. Your leadership will set the tone for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that every operation aligns with strategic goals. Drawing from your extensive operations experience, you steer the ship through complex challenges, striving for process optimization, and resource allocation, all aimed at meeting production targets and exceeding customer expectations. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the facility's competitive edge, propelling its growth and having a significant impact on the success of Broadridge. This position reports to the SVP Production Operations. This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Shape and develop department strategy and organization. Recommend and implement organizational changes to maximize operational efficiency, retain and promote key talent and ensure required client service levels are met or exceeded.

  • Strategic management of the print, production, shipping, receiving, technology, inventory, facility management departments to ensure high operational performance measured across: Quality, On-time delivery, and Unit Cost.

  • Quality: Proven track record of maintaining and improving product quality standards, including familiarity with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies.

  • On-time Delivery: Demonstrated ability to meet production schedules and delivery commitments consistently.

  • Unit Cost: Strong understanding of cost control strategies and experience in managing production costs effectively.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Talent Development and Succession Planning: Track record of developing and mentoring manufacturing teams, with a focus on succession planning.

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the production operations workforce.

  • Recruit, build, develop and manage a Production Operations leadership team capable of carrying out needed operations strategies and improving associate engagement.

  • Coaches, counsels, motivates, supports, and encourages development of team members.

  • Develop and implement operational solutions to support new products and regulatory changes/requirements.

  • Oversee the development and management of Production Operations capital and expense budgets to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.

  • Ensure operational compliance with SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley and ISO 9001/27001 standards

  • Position requires daily communication/ updates with senior leadership team on strategic work scheduling issues.

  • Proven leadership skills which include but not limited to integrity, strategic planning, decisiveness, sound business judgment, flexibility, analytical thinking and people management,

Qualifications:

  • 10 to 15 years of progressive operational and managerial experience

  • Proven experience as a senior operations leader and exhibits excellence in leadership

  • Relevant industry experience in a print, mail production, manufacturing, or light industrial facility preferred

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA desirable

  • Proven track record of success in the management of company operations, finance, and quality assurance, and client delivery

  • Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridges policies.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: 175,000 - 215,000 depending on experience. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

  • Annual Bonus: 20%
