DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Service Supervisor to join our team specializing in Service for our Cummins Inc. facility in El Cajon, CA .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enhancing Team Productivity : By supervising and scheduling Service Technicians, you’ll ensure efficient use of time and resources, boosting overall productivity.

  • Improving Repair Quality : Monitoring repair quality and providing feedback will help maintain high standards and customer satisfaction.

  • Supporting Technicians : Offering first-level support and escalating issues when necessary, will ensure timely and effective problem resolution.

  • Optimizing Service Logistics : Managing materials, equipment, and personnel will ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient operations.

  • Accurate Quoting and Communication : Reviewing quotes for accuracy and keeping customers informed about repair status will build trust and transparency.

  • Driving Continuous Improvement : Participating in process reviews and improvements will help the team adapt to changing customer expectations and organizational goals.

  • Maintaining Customer Satisfaction : Monitoring and addressing issues that impact repair timelines will help meet customer expectations and maintain satisfaction levels.

  • Building Strong Customer Relationships : Resolving warranty concerns and maintaining professional communication will foster strong relationships with key customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Effective Communication Skills : Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications that address the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Customer Focus : Build strong relationships with customers and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

  • Proficiency in Diagnostics Application : Translate customer complaints into troubleshooting plans, use specialized tools to diagnose issues, and validate repairs to ensure problems are resolved.

  • Expertise in Electronic Service Tools : Identify and utilize the appropriate hardware and software tools for service events and interpret results to determine next steps.

  • Thorough Service Documentation : Accurately document customer, equipment, and technical information to maintain a precise record of work done.

  • Skill in Technical Escalation and Warranty Process : Elevate technical issues, when necessary, analyze root causes, and manage warranty claims to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, required.
