The Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) enables customers to find meaningful answers to questions that accelerate breakthrough discoveries and ultimately change the world. We design, manufacture, and support a broad range of high-performance microscopy and spectroscopy workflows on wafers and single chips that provide images and answers in the micro-, nano-, and picometer scales. We combine hardware and software expertise in electron and ion microscopy with deep application knowledge in the materials science, life sciences, electronics, and natural resources markets. Company Overview:

We are a leading company in the field of transmission electron microscopy, specializing in the development and implementation of brand new technologies. Our company is committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to lead our newly formed Equipment Team within Operations engineering.

Role Overview:

The Supervisor of the OE Equipment Team will be responsible for a group of 6 individuals initially, with the potential for future team expansion. This team will operate as a separate entity within Operation Engineering, focusing on maintaining and handling our equipment fleet. The primary responsibility of the Supervisor will be to ensure efficient coordination and execution of the various tasks related to fleet management, stakeholder communication, tooling requirements, and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain Fleet Overviews: Develop and maintain comprehensive fleet overviews, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any concerns or issues promptly. Interface with FSG: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Equipment Team and the Factory Support Group (FSG). Coordinate and align tooling demand road-mapping activities, ensuring timely delivery of required resources. NPI Tooling Requirements: Coordinate closely with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to identify and address tooling requirements for the new projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new equipment. Coordinate Factory Tooling Requests (SBM): Facilitate the coordination and management of tooling requests from the factory floor. Ensure timely delivery of requested tooling and resolve any issues that may arise. Lead External Contacts: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Collaborate with them to ensure the timely delivery of equipment, parts, and services. Coordinate TPD Archiving: Supervise the maintenance and archiving of Technical Product Documentation (TPD) related to equipment. Ensure compliance with documentation standards and facilitate easy access to information when required. Coordinate Tooling Projects: Lead and coordinate projects, including planning, resource allocation, budget management, and timely execution. Monitor project progress and address any challenges to ensure successful completion. Compliance to Regulations (NEN3140): Ensure adherence to safety regulations, specifically NEN3140, in all tooling and equipment-related activities. Implement vital safety measures and conduct regular audits to maintain compliance. OE Bowler Input: Collaborate with the OE Bowler to provide input and insights into equipment-related operational efficiency initiatives. Supply to continuous improvement efforts and identify areas for optimization. HRM Tasks: Oversee HRM consignments, including recruitment, performance management, training, and development. Champion a positive team culture and provide guidance and support to team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience in equipment fleet management or a similar supervisory role

  • Solid understanding of tooling requirements and coordination

  • Familiarity with NPI processes and project management principles

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to run multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively

  • Proficiency in compliance with safety regulations, specifically NEN3140

  • Experience in handling external contacts and vendor relationships

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
