The CardioVascular (CV) Overlay is a business division of Medtronic with the goal of accellerating growth and customer experience in selected CV WE Strategic Accounts, leveraging capabilities across Operational Units (OUs), Country/Regional Overlays, Functions and CoE. The division aims to build long term partnership with strategic customers, meet strategic CV customer demand of pan-MDT interface at common CV call points, facilitate access to CV department leadership and Regional Key stakeholders, leverage CV breadth and reputation and differentiate through value added CV solutions.
A Day in the Life
The CardioVascular (CV) Strategic Account Manager appointed in The Netherlands will develop and execute local plans in partnership with country director, local OUs, IHS, WE CV Overlay and other local stakeholders to create value, deliver accelerated growth and improve customer experience in selected Strategic Accounts for the CV Portfolio.
Responsible for account/customer plans for targeted CV strategic accounts/ customers that deliver expected growth objectives for the CV portfolio in country/region. In addition to financial targets, plans need to deliver significant customer value and improve customer experience. Responsible for local insight gathering, competitive tracking and market share checking and collation
Local point of contact for Country Directors, OUs, Integrated Health Services, Western Europe CV Overlay for defined accounts. Works in strong collaboration and partnership with local OUs, HIS, Functions and other MDT stakeholders and WE CV Overlay in order to lead change and maximize opportunities in CV and SAM overlay accounts
Accountable for the PL, pricing and tender management, for the targeted strategic account(s)/ customers and for the achievement of account/customer KPIs, AOP planning execution.
Establish and lead local operating mechanisms/interface with OUs/functions and ensure CV Account Team members are in place.
Develop and maintain the CV business strategic relationship at the Senior/C-Suite level with CV strategic accounts, identifying and ensuring execution on co-developed and/or agreed upon account plans, projects and solutions.
Maintain accurate and up to date account/ customer plans in SFDC, prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders and conduct quarterly business reviews internally and externally.
Bachelor degree in business (preferably), science, medicine or equivalent.
10+ years sales experience in senior and complex roles.
Previous experience working in a regulated industry in Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharma.
Deep understanding of CV portoflio and trends in terms of outpatient treatment, alternative site care, etc.
Excellent communication, influencing and collaboration skills, experience in a multinational environment with a significant matrix component.
Able to develops long term strategic relationships and alliances with key internal and external stakeholders. High personal agility adaptability, profound experience in large scale organizational change.
Able to manage large and complex projects and to negotiate and gain cooperation involving different internal and external stakeholders who may have different divergent objectives.
