Sr. Architect - Test & Verification Engineering

Join our team as a Sr. Architect - Test & Verification Engineering, where you will architect the quality and safety of our healthcare systems. This role involves managing product requirements, testing, and verification in product creation projects. You will lead innovative approaches to serve our customers with state-of-the-art test and verification services.

Your role:

  • In this role, you will have a significant impact on ensuring the quality and safety of our healthcare systems. You do this trough reviewing (quality of) design inputs, design outputs, FMEAs, Risk Assessments, design verification documentation and being able to perform gap analysis with respect to standards and regulations

  • Manage the system engineering information and its traceability (requirements, risks, design decisions, protocols, results) in the database environment of the business

  • Create actionable integration and verification plans to release products and processes according to specified requirements

  • You will work closely with a diverse team of over 28 technical experts located in the Netherlands, India, and the US, as part of the Quality and Reliability Engineering department.

  • This position offers professional capabilities growth through deployment of best practices for requirements, risk, test and verification management globally in Philips to R&D project teams or organizations via training & coaching to enhance maturity

You're the right fit if:

  • You obtained a PhD or Masters (MSc) degree in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering combined with minimum 5 years of working experience in a highly regulated environment, preferably in the medical device industry.

  • You possess in-depth knowledge and a proven track record in System Engineering with a focus on risk-based test strategy development.

  • You are DfSS Black Belt certified or have equivalent experience, showcasing your analytical and architectural thinking, physical insight, and flexibility.

  • You bring a hands-on mentality to deliver sustainable results and creative solutions.
