Therefore, we are looking for an ambitious Benelux marketing manager with excellent business and analytical skills who can help us further drive this category.

The category Air consists of air cleaners, humidifiers and combi devices that allow people to manage their indoor air quality and comfort. People are getting more aware of the air quality they breathe every day and in today's time the air category is more relevant than ever before. For instance, think of the fact that now people not only use their home as a place to life but also to work. It is our mission to make people aware of the need for clean air and provide innovations to manage their indoor air quality. This role is quite unique, because you will not only work in the B2C domain. We are also actively expanding the Air category into the B2B domain. For instance, we are building solutions which are suitable for schools and offices. Therefore, we look for a candidate who has this entrepreneurial mindset. Because the road to success will not be easy. It will require that you test new business models, break through walls and establish new B2B relationships. At the same time, you will need to manage the B2C business carefully towards steep growth. All in all, this is what makes this role such a great and exciting challenge!

Your responsibilities

  • As Marketing manager Air you manage revenue & margin targets and market share position of your category in the Benelux market;

  • Translate the European Air marketing plan into a winning Benelux plan.

  • Define the source of business you will focus on and develop an effective marketing strategy, focused on short term, as well as long term activities;

  • Responsible for translating and checking assets, which are developed by the Global/European team. The European team manages the consumer campaigns, but you will actively deliver your input (local consumer insights) to that team to achieve your local marketing goals;

  • Working as part of the full commercial triangle including sales and trade shopper marketing;

  • Manage partnerships with organizations such as the Longfonds.

  • Expand (and grow fast!) the Air business into the B2B domain. Setting up this complete new business will require entrepreneurship, creativity and persistence.

  • Responsible for the local market, competition, shopper and consumer analysis to gain insights to help you determine your market activation strategy for your assigned portfolio, based on the consumer decision journey;

  • Operational day to day management in order to reach set KPI’s (incl. budget)

Your team

The broader marketing team consists of specialists in different marketing functions such as PR, Consumer care, Trade and Sales. Next to your colleagues in the Benelux team, you will work closely together with the newly formed European Air Marketing Team. This team is responsible for the European marketing strategy. The candidate we are looking for knows how to operate in a matrix organization with different stakeholders. For the large part, you will have a direct impact on your own results, but managing your business through others is also an important skill to have in order to be successful.

Your base will be in Eindhoven, The Netherlands (you will also visit our Brussels office once a month). We think it is important that our teams meet face-2-face weekly, but we also recognize the importance of managing your own agenda. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to work from home or from our Amsterdam office. You will report to the Benelux Marketing Lead for Domestic Appliances.

We are looking for

  • Master’s degree, preferably commercially/business oriented

  • Minimum 2 yrs and max 8 yrs of experience in a marketing management role (or similar)

  • Proven track-record in managing a business and achieving results. We value entrepreneurship greatly;

  • Experience in the B2B domain (next to your solid B2C marketing skills) is a plus

  • Proven affinity with digital marketing

  • You have strong analytical skills and you know how to turn data into information and action

  • You are capable to think strategic and act pragmatic

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English is a must, French is a plus
