Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Construction Project Manager acts as a project coordinator and is responsible for managing the building process from start to finish. The Project Manager oversees many scopes of work including but not limited to: interior renovations, paving, concrete, exterior renovations, yard repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks - providing frequent project updates to Director, Manager, Area Manager, and Divisional Vice President. The Project Manager will work very closely with engineers and architects to: Determine and define scope of work and maintain budget in accordance with construction plan. Analyze project plans and interpret blueprints, understanding technical aspects of construction. Create schedules of trades for the project. Determine material and labor quantities and costs. Negotiate with, hire, schedule, and maintain contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to order necessary materials. Gather permits and complete necessary jurisdiction inspections. Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred combined with 5 to 8 years of construction management experience in the following areas: Site management (including underground utilities, grading, paving, and site lighting) Steel building erection Interior commercial construction including MEPs
