THE WORK

Install, setup and monitor the training system. Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation and training tasks to ensure training system meets system requirements. Investigate problem reports, identify problem source and implement provided solutions. Maintain host security, including firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery, file system integrity and add / delete users. Perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team at Eglin AFB to fulfill F-35 training objectives. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Candidate must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (ie. 2012, 2016,2019 Win 10, etc.)

Knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare, Horizon View, VSphere, etc.)

Knowledge of installing and supporting COTS software

Account support using Active Directory

CompTIA Security Plus Certification or better

Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Disaster Recovery practices

Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchastrator

Nework Administrator knowledge

Familiar with a military environment

Ability to perform OJT training to other system administrators in an enterprise setup through phone, email, IM or in person support

VMware Certification

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
