The Boeing Company is seeking a Product Security Test Engineering Manager - Cyber to join our team in support of the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) located in Eglin AFB, FL or Patuxent River, MD. The NCRC mission is to provide cybersecurity Test and Evaluation (T&E) services to acquisition programs and Cyber Mission Force (CMF) training, exercises and mission rehearsals. This position will be responsible for the daily management and leadership of Product Security Test Engineering team composed of Boeing Product Security Engineers and highly skilled Supplier Cyber Test and Training expertise.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Product Security Test & Evaluation across the Enterprise including Defense Engineering Technology and Services

  • Manage, develop, and motivate a Product Security Test Team

  • Develop project and/or operational plans aligned to customer objectives

  • Implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved

  • Assign authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan

  • Review execution plans, making appropriate adjustments, and resolving issues

  • Develop and monitor appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan

  • Support the execution and implementation of technical and functional excellence projects and processes applicable to the organization

  • Ensure technical excellence by developing teammates, providing mentorship and instilling a culture of accountability and bias for action

  • Create a cohesive team environment blending the integrated Boeing/Supplier team

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Effectively communicating to Senior Leaders

  • Develop a culture wherein Safety and Quality concerns are identified, assessed and actively managed as one element in the conduct of daily business

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.). In addition, this position will require the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance in the future as needed.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical or engineering field

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing a team

  • 3+ years of experience with Cyber Security, Product Security and/or Test & Evaluation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

  • Experience with Avionics Test & Evaluation

  • Experience working with Avionics (non-IT) Systems

  • Experience with Product Security applied to Embedded Systems

  • Experience with Product Security Incident Response Investigations

  • Experience with requirements definition, systems integration and/or system test

  • Experience managing budgets/Earn Value Management (EVM)/Cost Account Manager (CAM)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $154,700 – $224,250
