Axient is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support 96 Range Support Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL.

What you will do...

• Serves as one of multiple ISSOs supporting cyber requirements development and system authorization (ATO) management for assigned squadron test instrumentation systems

• Familiar with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) guidance, USAF cybersecurity policies and standards, and experience assessing cybersecurity threat/vulnerability impacts to confidentiality, integrity and availability

• Assists documenting and implementing squadron cyber policy and procedures

• Oversees RMF continuous monitoring assessments of assigned systems/networks

• Advises squadron leaders on effectiveness in meeting organizational cyber goals

• Conducts software assurance risk assessments using squadron policy and process

• Assists the development, documentation, and coordination of Security Agreements between interconnected information systems/enclaves

• Analyzes vulnerability, compliance, and configuration scan data using Assured Compliance Solution (ACAS), Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assessment tools

Skills you will need...

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Active/transferrable Secret clearance required. Top Secret clearance desired.

• Meets DoD Cyber Workforce Framework, Cybersecurity Element, Intermediate-level Information System Security Manager, Role ID 722 qualifications IAW DoDM 8140.03.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or a degree in a Mathematics or Engineering field.

• 0-3 years’ experience in applicable discipline ; Experience may be substituted for education with customer approval.

• Must have one of the following: Security+ Highly Desired: CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+); Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
