Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead continuous improvement projects within manufacturing and the warehouse facility. You will maintain a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and equipment, work with department supervisors and their teams to establish or adjust work procedures, suggest changes in working conditions and the use of equipment to increase efficiency, and analyze and resolve work problems. You will also assist production employees in solving work problems by applying your technical expertise.

Hard Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required.

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile

• Experience with CNC machinery, programming experience is highly valuable.

• SolidWorks experience

• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word & Outlook

• Strong technical aptitude

Soft Skills

• Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills

• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills

• Problem-solving

• Decision-making skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Edwardsville, KS.

Work Environment

Must be comfortable working in fast paced manufacturing and warehouse settings.
