World Wide Technology Safety Coordinator in Edwardsville, Illinois
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Safety Management required or a combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 2yrs experience
Advanced Safety and Compliance Concepts
Advanced Safety Hazard Identification
Intermediate Root Cause Analysis
Advanced OSHA standard interpretation
Working knowledge of domestic and international Occupational Health and Safety standards
General knowledge of domestic and international telecommunications and electrical safety standards, NFPA 70e.
Ability to set goals and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal/communication (verbal and written) skills
Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work independently, with minimal direction
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Planner) and database management
Knowledge of electrical safety practices and how to apply them in working environments.
Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Ability to recognize and handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to solve fairly complex problems
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to conduct and document root cause analysis
Ability to autonomously plan and prioritize work.
Must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts.
Must be willing to attend off-site training and workshops.
This is an on-site position, with flexibility to travel to various domestic locations, as needed.

OSHA 30 certification
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E Arch Flash Certification

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $48,000 to $60,000 (hourly position). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including certain shifts, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
