Zurich Resilience Solutions is currently looking for a Marketing Consultant to develop, promote, and plan strategic and tactical objectives to deliver market-leading campaigns that generate profitable business.
Reporting to the AVP Business Development, ZRS Canada, you will ensure communications requirements are clearly defined based on an informed detailed understanding of propositions, target market segments and distribution channels.

What you will do
• Support propositional development, promotion and strategic and tactical objectives to deliver market leading campaigns that generate profitable business.
• Ensuring effective marketplace delivery, customer focus and propositional integrity.
• Ensure communications requirements are clearly defined based on an informed detailed understanding of propositions, target market segments and distribution channels.
• Continuous improvement in the quality and effectiveness of marketing communication and maintenance of an up to date understanding of best practice.
• Ensure all relevant trade and distributor media and opportunities are fully understood and exploited.
• Ensure on time, on budget delivery of campaigns and other communications initiatives, to maintain or grow profitable market share for relevant proposition set.
• Determine budgets for communication projects, ensuring any necessary external agencies and services are selected and managed effectively.
• Work collaboratively with all parts of the Marketing team and wider business areas to research, develop, enhance and communicate the customer and/or broker value propositions for assigned segments. • Provide business insight and strategic input to the production of communications, sales campaigns and marketing promotions.
• Lead the marketing planning process for specified Segments, working closely with the Head of Segment to define marketing objectives and new marketing strategies that support the delivery of the business objectives.
• Ensure governance and compliance processes are adhered to correctly.
• Support wider Zurich initiatives as the voice of the customer – as required.
• Involvement in a whole range of significant operational and divisional issues over timescales ranging from short to medium term, involved in long term strategic plans.
• Responsible for new issues, which have to be resolved by taking account of internal and external factors, the impact of which is often unclear. Set policies from which processes / procedures are developed by others.
Job Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
Required:
• Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Marketing area.
AND
• 5 or more years experience developing marketing strategies and executing on marketing campaigns.
Preferred:
• Strong emphasis on digital marketing.
• French language skills are an asset for Ontario candidates and a requirement for candidates in Quebec
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to lead strategic marketing projects and marketing initiatives
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Knowledge of commercial property/casualty market and insurance projects
• in-depth knowledge of business metrics and the application to business strategy
Verbal and written proficiency in the English language is required in order to facilitate communication with internal and external key stakeholders located outside of Quebec.
Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The salary range provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Compensation may exceed the range listed based on the evaluation of skillset and experience. The starting salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000.
