The Canadian Brewhouse Director of Supply Chain Processes in Edmonton, Alberta

The Canadian Brewhouse Group of Companies is looking for a highly skilled and strategic Director of Supply Chain Processes to lead and innovate our supply chain operations. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to distribution across our network of restaurants nationwide. RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Development and Implementation:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with The Canadian Brewhouse's business goals.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities for supply chain process improvements.

Sourcing and Procurement:

• Establish and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

• Develop sourcing strategies to ensure goods and services' best value and quality.

• Implement standardized procurement processes and best practices.

Distribution and Replenishment:

• Oversee the distribution network to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to enterprise locations.

• Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient replenishment processes.

Process Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and reduce costs.

• Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and improve supply chain performance.

Leadership and Team Development:

• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team.

• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the supply chain function.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in a retail & hospitality environment.

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, procurement strategies, and inventory management.

• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analytics tools.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Willingness to travel as needed to support supply chain operations across various locations.

• A criminal record check and confidentiality agreement are required for this position.
