Lux Lawns LLC headquartered at 22011 N Western Ave. Edmond, OK 73012 phone number: +1 405-315-7476, is looking to fill seven (7) Landscape Technician positions from 10/01/2024 to 11/15/2024. This is for full time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: as landscape technicians, workers will perform lawn care maintenance by pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and/or hedges, planting trees, foliage, and bushes, and maintaining appearance of the lawn by mowing and edging. Workers will manage tree and shrub care and maintain flower beds, and also perform landscape installation activities including installing floral beds and preparing existing areas of foliage and landscaping materials. Workers will use garden tools, hand tools, and lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, tractor, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws to perform the above job duties. Workers will also perform winter cutbacks on perennials and plants in order to properly prepare lawn or landscape for winter weather and new growth in the Spring. Workers are responsible for maintaining irrigation systems for flower beds, including winterizing the systems before temperatures drop below freezing to prevent damage. Special requirements include: workers must have 3 months of landscape maintenance or related experience. Workers must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day. Workers must be able to stand, walk, and bend for 8 hours a day.

The pay rate is \$16.15 per hour with overtime available at \$24.22 per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week from 7:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday. Returning workers and workers with experience may be paid higher wage rates. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 1040 Summit Ridge Dr. STE G, Edmond, OK 73025 and will service clients within the Oklahoma City, OK BLS/MSA, including the counties of Oklahoma, Logan, Canadian. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker\'s paycheck required by law. Employer arranged housing is available at a weekly payroll deduction of \$100.00. The offered housing is optional to workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker\'s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
