Modivcare Exceptions Manager in Edison, New Jersey

This position is responsible for developing consistent, scalable business processes that reduce transaction costs, improve quality, enhance productivity and drive excellent internal and external customer service.

This role...

• Drives efficient flow of work throughput, with emphasis on cost improvement, cycle time (service) and production time reduction.

• Provides in-service training on how to use NET service effectively.

• Provides outreach regarding members, transportation, education and other subjects as needed to medical facilities.

• Provides guidance support for all exceptions process related questions.

• Provides guidance on the research and resolution to work that requires further actions.

• Manages the denial and appeal process within the department.

• Manages the department's phone activity (inbound and outbound) for quality and efficiency.

• Provides guidance on utilization investigations.

• May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.

• Occasional business travel may be required.

• Determines appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives.

• Defines annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.

• Manages and mentors employees on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies.

• Manages and coaches employees on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards.

• Recognizes others’ contributions and share credit for success.

• Owns attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.

• Prepares and manages budget as assigned; analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions to maximize operational performance.

We are excited to speak to individuals with the following...

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Six (6) plus years experience.

• Two (2) plus years leadership responsibility.

• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

• Excellent customer service and people skills.

• Ability to work independently or with a team.

• Ability to quickly learn new technology and processes.

• Ability to understand and follow complex instructions.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English fluently.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and positively influence a team.

• Ability to deliver clear, effective, and engaging oral presentations to a public audience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Excellent problem-solving skills; must be able to develop and implement action plans to address issues.

Pay: $ 52,900 - $71,400 annual

T his role is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance
