Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in the Service industry, located in Edison, New Jersey. This role involves managing the collection process and ensuring accurate record-keeping. You will be responsible for communicating with clients regarding their payments and creating reports to track collection efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage collections through phone calls and emails to ensure timely payments

• Maintain detailed records of client accounts and their payment statuses

• Create detailed reports on collection efforts and financials

• Use software tools such as MS Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and Outlook for data management and communication

• Implement and manage collection processes and operations

• Handle collections for both commercial and consumer accounts

• Utilize your skills in collections management to optimize the collection process

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and monitor customer credit accounts for delinquent payments. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar Collections Specialist role

• Proficiency in collections and collection operations

• Experience with both commercial and consumer collections

• Knowledge of collection processes and management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Sheets

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
