Role Dimensions

The Decision Support Manager will take a lead role in Diageo’s Global Supply sourcing projects and will be responsible for leading the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data to support strategic decision-making processes. This is a global role which involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and using data to provide insights that drive business performance and critical initiatives.

  • Partner with markets globally to support the development of financial cases and guide teams through the Global Sourcing gate process.

  • Collaborate with senior management and partners to understand business objectives and identify data needs.

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets to inform business decisions. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for decision support.

  • Use strong commercial lens to lead in the translation of quantitative analysis into key insights for partners and gatekeepers.

  • Present insights, forecasts, and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement data-driven strategies to enhance business operations.

Ideal experiences / Qualifications / capabilities

  • +3-5 years of proven experience in project management, Finance or similar fields

  • Consistent track record of influencing and driving functional leadership teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data-driven insights to a diverse audience.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strategic problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities and challenges.

  • Diligent with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • CIMA/CA qualified preferred
