Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Applications Analyst in our Financial Services sector, based in Edgewood, Maryland. In this role, you'll be tasked with evaluating and analyzing information, designing and implementing system configurations, and coordinating with third-party providers to improve business applications.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and reconcile information gathered from multiple sources to understand user requests and business needs.

• Design and implement system configurations to optimize business processes.

• Coordinate with third-party providers to streamline and enhance business applications.

• Utilize advanced scripting and report writing tools such as Java, Crystal, SQL, UC4, and Visimage.

• Direct and organize the testing of new releases and upgrades for applications.

• Manage the decision process for new enhancements found in new releases or upgrades.

• Capture and analyze required information and data to translate into improved business processes.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Promote the use of applications to meet unique end-user needs.

• Utilize skills in Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, SQL Queries, and SQL Reporting to accomplish tasks efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry

• Proficient in Business Process Functions

• Experience in drafting Business Requirement Documents

• Proficiency in SQL including writing and optimizing queries

• Familiarity with SQL Reporting and its applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
