The ability to effectively work with a team in providing nursing education to Associate Degree Nursing students is essential to success in this position. This faculty member will engage in team teaching in providing nursing education.Job Duties:Participates in instructional presentation and delivery; the planning and designing of instructional programs; instructional evaluation and assessmentAssist in the design and update of course syllabi, curriculum review, revision and development.Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.Assumes a participative role in supporting and promoting the mission, goals and objectives of the College by performing the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the leadership of the department, division, and College.Will be responsible for supplemental teaching in clinical and skills laboratory each semester as necessaryRecruit students for the program.Advise students who are in the programMonitor and improve student retention.Provide quality customer service to students, faculty and staff.Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assignedMinimum Qualifications:BSN with 18 hours of graduate work in Nursing or BSN with a commitment to obtain MSN within five years.Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by a state board of nursing.Minimum of two years full-time or equivalent experience in direct patient care as a registered nurse within the immediate last five years.Qualified candidates must possess medical/surgical experience.
