This is a remote role and can be located anywhere in the US. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with Strategic Accounts Managers to maintain and enhance the relationship with the customer and grow the business. This will be accomplished through various forms of communication including telephone, e-mail and customer visits. Assist in the facilitation of the selling process through ongoing support of the Strategic Account Manager and the customer. Could include equipment recommendations (partnering with local sales teams), preparation of quote/bid documents, reporting, etc. Partner with a variety of internal teams to ensure we are meeting/exceeding customer expectations relative to quality, order accuracy, on-time delivery dates and problem resolution. In conjunction with the Strategic Accounts Managers, drive specific programs for Strategic Accounts Meet/Exceed annual sales plan. Maintain Strategic Accounts database with relevant customer information. Attend key business meetings to enhance customer relationships as well as mitigate risk to Tennant Co. Central point of contact for collecting and providingdata for QBR's EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred Minimum 5 years business experience in sales, inside sales and/or customer service Demonstrated experience working directly with large National/Global customers, by phone and/or in person Track record of successful job performance Strong business acumen REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Establishes a clear line of sight between customer needs and organizational objectives Takes initiative and ownership to identify and achieve goals and objectives Sets appropriate timelines and follows projects and tasks through to completion Examines issues from multiple perspectives to develop effective and sustainable solutions Effectively integrates and manages the interface between groups Engenders trust, does what he/she says they will do Exceptional organization and prioritization skills Functional PC and PC application skills - SAP experience preferred Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong presence over the phone Begin your journey with us.
