As an IT Project Coordinator, you will coordinate IT initiatives by working with IT coworkers, other BMI colleagues and external vendors, contractors, consultants and others to ensure that projects run smooth, on time and within budget.
What You Will Be Doing:
Oversight of all key IT projects, with coordination of multiple projects.
Ability to use appropriate methodology to create structures and to define all project phases, activities, tasks and deliverables.
Learn and understand client business plans and objectives, aligning project goals and plans appropriately.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure project Critical Success Factors (CSFs) are met.
Organize/oversee unit, system, integration testing on newly developed or enhanced applications.
Provide recommendations for the improvement, re-engineering, or replacement of existing systems/processes.
Setting project scope, priorities and deadlines
Facilitating discussions and consensus among project stakeholders, such as analysts, applications programmers and clients
Managing and monitoring project budgets and expenditures
Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
An associate degree or equivalent experience in a related computer field plus 3 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination.
Established skills around IT project management.
Experience with project management related software tools.
ITIL foundations v3 or MOF training and certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of software/hardware implementation best practices.
