Description GENERAL DUTIES: 1. Be responsible for answering the camp phone and being the 1st point of contact for our clients. 2. Attend and participate in evening programs and spiritual activities. 3. Maintain a standard of cleanliness in personal grooming and in living quarters. 4. Assist with the clean-up of the total camp at the end of each session and at the conclusion of the summer. 5. Assist with evening cabin supervision when assigned. 6. Any other duties as assigned by the Office Manger or Assistant Camp Administrator. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Safety and Supervision 1. Enforce camp policies and procedures 2. Maintain the utmost level of safety for staff and campers at all times. 3. Ensure compliance with American Camping Association standards of safety and programmatic conduct at all times. 4. Coordinate and implement all program components relative to the daily schedule in a timely fashion. Weekly Responsibilities 1. Assist with registration of campers. 2. Maintain correspondence, camp bulletins, etc., assist as needed. 3. Keep count of campers and report count to kitchen and dining room for first meal. 4. Assist as needed in maintaining records for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 5. Make a weekly Fire/Emergency file consisting of: every cabin roster, staff roster and their living quarters, and fire/emergency procedures. 6. Answer phones in a friendly and helpful manner. 7. Assist guest services coordinator with Day Camp Registrations 8. Be available for camper parents, to answer questions and give direction. 9. Post bus rosters at the end of each camp week. 10. Input camper data into a camper database to help in the recording of measurable goals. 11. Keep main office orderly and clean. 12. Assist camp staff in printing tasks and at times when they require the use of the front office. Rev. 2/16 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. 2. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead. 3. Ability to operate telephone. 4. Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer. 5. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. 6. Ability to access and produce information from a computer. 7.
