IntelAssist Test Engineer (US Based Client) in Eastwood, Philippines
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing websites, mobile apps, and internal applications to ensure they meet quality standards and client requirements. This position is perfect for someone who is a team player, a quick learner, and can adapt to working with our client, a Fortune 500 company, on large projects involving both onshore and offshore teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute test scripts and document results thoroughly.
Report defects and collaborate closely with the team lead to facilitate prompt resolutions, validate bug fixes, and perform comprehensive retests.
Consistently achieve daily and weekly objectives, demonstrating reliability and commitment to performance standards.
Soft Skills:
Understanding of Corporate Culture: Demonstrates a strong awareness of corporate culture and adheres to organizational rules, while maintaining an understanding of the internal structure and chain of command.
Professional Communication: Maintains a high standard of professionalism in all forms of communication by using appropriate grammar and tone. Ensures that all messages are clear, concise, and considerate of corporate and client etiquette.
Responsiveness: Manages communications efficiently by staying on top of emails, messages, and meeting invitations. Ensures timely responses, with emails answered within 24 hours, messages replied to within 15 minutes during working hours, and meeting invitations accepted within 12 hours.
Corporate Etiquette: Upholds day-to-day corporate etiquette by prioritizing English in professional interactions and demonstrating respectful and professional behavior toward both clients and team members.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree / In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in UAT or related field.
Certification in software testing methodologies from recognized and established sources is a plus.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
Oracle CC&B knowledge/experience is required.
Experience with collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Confluence, and Figma is a plus.
Familiarity with backend systems such as SAP and CC&B is a plus.
Experience with accessibility testing tools, including JAWS, Lighthouse, NVDA, Talkback, and VoiceOver, is a plus.
Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI is advantageous.
Experience with testing web applications, mobile web, and mobile apps.
Experience in multiple testing types, including User Interface (UI) Design Testing, Copy Testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, and API Testing.
Understanding of different testing environments.
Basic familiarity with Agile methodology, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing processes, including involvement in sprint reviews, user story validation, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet user requirements.
Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, ALM or similar tools, including test case execution, user stories, and bug tracking.
Skilled in the effective and strategic utilization of test data to optimize testing processes and improve overall quality assurance outcomes.
Experience working with U.S client is a plus.
