Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in EASTON, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be expected to work on-site with a hybrid work option after training. This person will be a key part of the team, handling a variety of tasks related to accounts payable and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices received.

• Key in invoice payments in accordance with established processes and audit controls.

• Maintain and update vendor information, including W9’s, 1099’s, and banking instructions.

• Record general ledger entries for processed payments.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in invoices with internal contacts and external vendors.

• Assist with month-end close procedures, including the production of accurate month-end accruals.

• Support the annual controls audit for Accounts Payable.

• Perform other related clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems

• Ability to accurately enter invoices into the system

• Proven experience in coding invoices, aligning them with the correct accounts and cost centers

• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
