Who is Fusion Technology?


Fusion Technology is a performance-driven HUBZone Small Business concern residing in the heart of the beautiful mountainsides of West Virginia, steps away from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Criminal Justice Information Services Division's Headquarters. Founded in 2007 by an Engineer-by-trade, Fusion Technology dedicates our valuable resources to providing comprehensive IT services and solutions to mission-critical US Government programs and the Intel Community. 


In 2020, we established Fusion ESG. Fusion Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) is a division of Fusion Technology created in response to emerging demands on IT Integration closely related to human factors in the workplace. Operating from the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the idyllic town of Easton, Fusion ESG is a Technology Integration Contractor (TIC) that provides turnkey design, engineering, implementation, logistical, project management, and quality assurance solutions and services to mission-critical facilities worldwide.


Who are you?


  • Security-cleared Professional: You possess the highest personal and professional ethical standards and are therefore dedicated to safeguarding Government information. You have an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance. Do you also possess an active Personal Identification Verification (PIV) badge? If so, we consider that a plus!

  • Seasoned Leader: You have an Associate of Arts Degree, Associate Technical Degree, or higher and 7+ years of experience on active construction sites that have led to your excellent verbal and written communication skills. You have worked as an Electrical Inspector on at least one project from start to finish. You know what it means to ensure outstanding work is being performed; you have experience overseeing construction crews and inspecting electrical systems construction in Government greenfield and renovation projects.

  • World Explorer: You are ready to see the world and mesh with different cultures. You have a valid passport at least 6 months from expiration and are willing and able to live overseas for extended deployments of 1 to 4 years. You prioritize your own and others’ safety every place you go. You are up-to-date on your COVID, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and World Health Organization (WHO) vaccinations or are willing to get vaccinated.

  • Grammar Wiz: Your writing skills are the talk of the town, and people envy your thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Detailed Planner: You have a high-level attention to detail and are ready for every outcome. You are the one coworkers go to for information. You can track progress using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Schedules, and project plans. What makes you preferable over other candidates? You have an active ProjNet account with knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) Checks and the Overseas Building Operations (OBO) Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Review Process.

  • Subject Matter Expert: You are enmeshed in the world of construction. You understand the design, installation, commissioning, and operation and maintenance (O&M) involved with small to large Government construction projects. Do you also have a broad knowledge and experience with commercial construction? Then, we consider you a preferred candidate!


What we do:


The Department of State (DOS) Overseas Buildings Operations’ (OBO) mission is to provide safe, secure, functional, and resilient facilities that represent the United States Government and securely house our mission-critical Government personnel and intel. The largest application of this mission is related to building new and renovating existing US Embassies and Consulates abroad. Fusion ESG supports this mission by providing project management and engineering services culminating in the construction management team that augments and facilitates the OBO Project Directors, Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS). Our team provides experienced and steady construction management for functional facilities overseas that represent American values and the best in American architecture, design, engineering, technology, sustainability, art, culture, and construction execution.


What you’ll do:


  • Conduct comprehensive design reviews and coordination

  • Carry out construction monitoring and inspections

  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs)

  • Maintain control of assigned tasks, completing them in a manner that ensures consistency with project requirements

  • Interface with and provide subject matter expertise to members of the project team, such as the end user, Project Director (PD), and other Government representatives, contractors, local workers, etc.

  • Use and protect classified material according to the proper standards

  • Undergo special training on general and project specific security requirements, including specialty reporting

  • Ensure the overall successful execution of assigned tasks

  • Communicate with the Fusion Project Management Office (PMO) in meetings, reporting, and the timely escalation of project issues
