CNC Machinist Production Supervisor
Job
Description
As a Machining Production Supervisor, you will lead and
work alongside a team of machinists, quality personnel, and engineers. You will
apply your knowledge of machine shop procedures, machine tool setup, operating
techniques, and production machining methods. Your key responsibilities will
include reviewing setup sheets and specifications, obtaining programs and
tooling, ensuring proper tooling availability, developing and managing
production schedules, interpreting specifications and job orders, and recommending
measures to improve production methods and quality. You will drive lean
techniques, manage employee timecards and time off requests, and ensure the
completion of daily safety, quality, and production paperwork. You will also
analyze and resolve work problems and partner with the production supervisor to
support process flow, maintaining a 6S environment within the department.
Must
Have
- 3-5
years of experience in similar role - supervision of Machining department

Strong knowledge and experience in CNC Milling/Turning

Ability to assist Machinists with troubleshooting issues with their machines

Knowledge of CNC Programming, G&M Codes, Mazatrol controls

Experience in lean manufacturing/6s methodology

Rates - $35-37/hr

OT is NOT required, but encouraged

OT would be 5hrs on Saturday and Sunday's (SUNDAY IS 2x TIME)
