Job Summary The Food/Product Safety Site Leader I enforces and monitors the compliance of established food safety and quality procedures to comply with regulatory, customer, and internal requirements. Job Responsibilities: Assist with HAACP/GMP program and ISO quality system through internal audits, document control, and driving continuous improvement. Manage the site's microbiological environmental control program. Coordinate and own the site's pest control program. Enforce personal hygiene practices and all food safety programs. Train new hires on food safety regulations, policies, and standards. Support QMS improvement initiatives in the South Brunswick organization. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in life sciences preferred, Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years' experience in a food, chemical, or manufacturing environment with a minimum of two years of experience in quality control or quality assurance functions. Knowledge of common microbiological requirements for food, manufacturing, and chemistry is required. Maintaining site SOPs and ETQ (in QMS). PCQI, HACCP certification, GMP, and FSSC knowledge preferred. Knowledge of kosher and halal requirements is preferred.
