Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: With in Western MASS Reports To: HR Manager / Director Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our STAFFING team. Both RNs and LPNs will work collaboratively to provide high-quality care to clients which might be students, residents, and or patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Key Responsibilities: For RNs: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of students, residents, and patients, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests. - Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor responses from students, residents, and patients. - Provide education regarding health conditions, treatments, and preventive care to students, residents, and patients. - Ensure proper documentation of care and progress for students, residents, and patients. - Advocate for the needs of students, residents, and patients and coordinate care with physicians and specialists. - Provide leadership in emergency situations and coordinate critical care activities. For LPNs: - Assist in the implementation of care plans for students, residents, and patients, under the supervision of an RN or physician. - Monitor the condition of students, residents, and patients and report changes to the RN or physician. - Administer basic care, including dressing changes, feeding, and assistance with daily activities for students, residents, and patients. - Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician, following appropriate protocols. - Record vital signs and document progress for students, residents, and patients. - Assist with education and provide emotional support to students, residents, and patients and their families. - Work closely with the nursing to ensure continuity of care for students, residents, and patients. Qualifications: For RNs: Valid RN license - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. - Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. For LPNs: - Valid LPN license - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift, move, and assist students, residents, and patients. - Ability to stand or walk for extended periods. - Ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, including taking vitals, administering medications, and assisting with mobility. Work Environment: This position is in healthcare and may require exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and hazardous materials in a clinical or hospital setting.
