Position Summary
The SMO helps MSU meet its strategic mission through effective IT Service Management (ITSM) practice implementation and education. Reporting to the Service Management Office Manager, the TeamDynamix Product Administrator is responsible for expanding TDX utilization, assessing, planning, defining, implementing, measuring, and continuously improving solutions and maintenance practices. The ideal individual for this role will have a good blend of communication, process, service management skills and technical abilities. They will have a strong understanding of IT service management with experience creating and supporting SaaS tools, forms, workflows, and reports.
Responsibilities of the position include proactively working with customers and team members to determine requirements, contributing to solution designs that solve customer and business needs. This role leverages ITIL process expertise, negotiating, problem solving and project management skills to configure components and lead others in developing system improvements within agreed time, cost, and quality. Successful candidates will be dynamic, have strong deductive reasoning capabilities, communicate up/down/across the enterprise, drive initiatives from inception to closure, with strong attention to detail. They will demonstrate a focus on listening to and understanding client, university, and technology needs, and setting high service and quality expectations.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
