Position Summary

Seeking to hire a colleague who is energized by the prospect of joining an interdisciplinary, dynamic, and motivated team, and driven by a desire to produce high-quality and practical products aimed at driving systemic improvements for children and youth experiencing behavioral health challenges. The position, which includes benefits, is fixed term annual (with the possibility of renewal pending funding), 100% time position beginning March 1, 2024 with the potential for yearly renewal.

This position includes the following work responsibilities:

Leading collaborative data-based problem-solving activities related to continuous improvement of systems-level training and evaluation pertaining to children’s behavioral health practices;

Providing administrative oversight (e.g., scheduling, regular communications with stakeholders, preparing meeting agendas and meeting minutes, maintaining shared file structure for all project related documents) of multiple subprojects focused on continuous improvement training at the state-level in the area of evidence-based interventions for youth seeking community-based mental health treatment;

Planning and executing quality assurance and improvement of the project based on findings from data and recommending program improvement initiatives and recommendations;

Overseeing, writing, and editing clear and concise reports for both professional and general audiences;

Producing data summaries, tables, and visualizations for dissemination to essential stakeholders;

Supervision, guidance, and support of Research Assistants who are currently providing leadership to these projects;

Collaborating with different groups of individuals, including graduate assistants, colleagues from across the university, clinicians working across the state, and state-level stakeholders;

Required Degree

Masters

Minimum Requirements

A master’s degree in social work, community psychology, child development, family therapy, school psychology, or related field;

2-3 years of professional experience in data-based collaborative problem-solving within the human services fields;

Demonstrated knowledge or interest in partner-orientated community-based research;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications

Highly motivated, self-directed, and exceptional attention to detail;

Have strong organizational, management, and problem-solving skills;

Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills;

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external team members;

Ability to manage multiple project tasks and competing priorities while maintaining flexibility;

Prior experience using web-based data capture systems [e.g., Research and Electronic Data Capture (REDCap)] for data collection, data quality checks, and extraction for analysis purposes.
