Through this project we are generating a long-term longitudinal dataset on fungal, bacterial and oomycete communities. The research associate will use these data to assess microbiome dynamics specific to plant tissues, growth stages, management regimes, crops and time. Hypotheses will be tested through experimental constructed microbial community studies using isolates in a culture library obtained from the KBS research sites.
