Position Summary
The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition seeks a Research Associate (Postdoctoral Researcher) to work in Dr. Courtney Carignan’s research program. The primary responsibilities for this position are to develop and test dietary exposure models for a wide range of contaminants, lead manuscript preparation, and give scientific presentations.

Required Degree
Doctorate
Minimum Requirements
A doctoral degree in Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Nutritional Science, Food Science or a related discipline, with a demonstration of computational exposure modeling and scientific writing skills.
Demonstrated skills in data management, data analysis and scientific writing.
A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with computational exposure modeling.
Experience with toxicological risk assessment.
Experience presenting scientific findings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Good organizational skills.
