Position Summary
The Department of Linguistics, Languages, and Cultures at Michigan State University is seeking a Hebrew instructor to teach three courses over six weeks October 21-December 1, 2024. This is a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor/Instructor. Duties include teaching two first-year and one second-year course of Hebrew for a total of 12 classroom contact hours per week.

Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Hebrew / Israeli Culture / Hebrew Literature / 2^nd^ Language Education
- Doctorate (required for appointment as Assistant Professor)
- Native or near native proficiency in Hebrew
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Experience teaching Hebrew in high school or college setting
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate (required for appointment as Assistant Professor)
- Experience using the Hebrew from Scratch textbook
