Robert Half Administrative Assistant in East Hills, New York

Description

We are providing an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in East Hills , New York. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where the individual will be supporting the team in all administrative functions related to donor data management, event coordination, and inter-department collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the master data for donations, including tracking and generating reports.

• Assist in the administration and execution of special events.

• Maintain the donor database and additional donor tracking systems.

• Collaborate with different agency departments and lay leaders to enhance fundraising endeavors.

• Process donations and prepare timely acknowledgement letters and other correspondence.

• Maintain tracking systems for all special events, including raffles and vendor negotiations.

• Coordinate all elements of mailings and other communications.

• Assist with meeting administration, including scheduling and correspondence.

• Work closely with the accounting department in maintaining and reconciling financial records.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements • Must possess strong skills in answering inbound calls, with a focus on providing efficient and effective communication.

• Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service is required.

• Familiarity with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in email correspondence, demonstrating strong written communication skills.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining detail oriented and courteous communication at all times.

• Must have a good grasp of Microsoft Excel, showcasing the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, demonstrating effective email management and scheduling abilities.

• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, illustrating the ability to create compelling presentations.

• Must have experience with Microsoft Word, showcasing the ability to create, edit, and format documents.
